About Terre Nature et + Photography Festival
Every year, the "Terre Nature et +" Photography Festival brings together around forty photographers, wildlife painters, and sculptors in Contrexéville to celebrate nature, wildlife, and landscapes. Organized by the Alpha association in partnership with the town of Contrexéville since 2022, the weekend features a mix of exhibitions, talks by nature photographers, and a public photo competition, with the awards ceremony taking place on Sunday.
Terre Nature et + Photography Festival — edition 2026
For its 5th edition, the festival celebrates the bicentenary of photography and is opening its competition to all themes, moving beyond its traditional focus on nature. Around forty photographers and artists will be showcasing over 500 works, including photographs, paintings, and sculptures. The weekend will feature six talks hosted by exhibiting photographers, alongside two competitions: "Nature in all its forms" and a tribute to Nicéphore Niépce titled "View from a window."

- Exhibition of over 500 works (photographs, paintings, sculptures) by around forty artists · Salle polyvalente, behind the town hall
- A sculptor will present animal-themed creations made entirely from recycled materials
- 6 talks on nature hosted by exhibiting photographers · Espace Andrée Chédid
- Exhibition of entries for the two competitions: "Nature in all its forms" and the Nicéphore Niépce bicentenary tribute, "View from a window" — visitors can vote for their favorite photo
- Raffle featuring works donated by the exhibiting artists
- Refreshments and light snacks available on-site

Practical information — Terre Nature et + Photography Festival
The exhibitions are held in the 800 m² multi-purpose hall located behind the Contrexéville town hall. The talks take place at the Espace Andrée Chédid, in a 100-seat auditorium. Admission is free at both venues.
