The nature race on the hills of Touraine du Sud
The Trail des Coteaux de Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine is a nature race organized every year in April on the hills of Draché, Sepmes, and Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine. Offering courses of 6.6 km, 11 km, and 21 km with 90% of the route on paths and trails, this family-friendly trail offers an immersion in the heart of Touraine's nature. Youth races from 500 m to 2.5 km complete the program, making this event a sporting gathering accessible to all from Parc Robert Guignard.
Organized by the Sainte-Maure Athlétisme Club (SMAC), the Trail des Coteaux de Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine has established itself as a must-attend event on the trail running calendar in Indre-et-Loire. Every year in April, runners traverse the hills of Draché, Sepmes, and Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine, through a hilly landscape of vineyards, woods, and rural paths where 90% of the course takes place on natural trails and paths.

All starts and finishes are at Parc Robert Guignard, a green and sports space in Sainte-Maure-de-Touraine that hosts the trail village. Participants and their companions will find a refreshment area, entertainment, and a friendly, family atmosphere. SMAC, the event organizer, mobilizes numerous volunteers to ensure course marking, safety, and the best possible welcome for runners.
