Each year in December, the town of Val-de-Briey — born from the merger of Briey and several neighboring towns — organizes its Christmas markets, enlivening local life during the holiday season. Two complementary markets

The town offers two distinct Christmas markets, held a few days apart:

The Mance Christmas Market, organized by the association “Les Miches Mançoises,” brings together about thirty exhibitors in a village-like and friendly atmosphere. Local artisans, regional producers, creators, and associations offer original gift ideas and gourmet specialties.

The Briey-Bas Christmas Market takes place in the heart of the historic district. Visitors will find stands of artisans and creators, food and hot drinks, as well as entertainment for the whole family. Local shops open their doors for the occasion, creating a festive synergy between the market and local commercial life.
