About Yamato Manga Fest

The Yamato Manga Fest brings together fans of manga, cosplay, and Japanese culture in Semur-en-Auxois for an autumn weekend. The event gathers mangakas, illustrators, creators, and vendors for workshops, a cosplay contest, and a video game area, all within a friendly, intergenerational atmosphere. It is organized by the Yamato Manga Fest team, who host several events of the same name throughout Burgundy each year.

Programme Yamato Manga Fest 2026

Saturday, October 31st, 2026 — 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM

  • Doors open · Gymnase Saint-Exupéry
  • Exhibitor stalls: vendors, creators, printers, authors, and a tattoo artist
  • Meet-and-greet with mangaka Loïki Nihon
  • Presentation by the Shinkido association (Anaïs Pignon)
  • Food and drink: bubble tea (Ô'Plaisirs Gourmands), craft beers (Bario Bros), and Japanese street food (Kaizen Washoku)

Sunday, November 1st, 2026 — 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM

  • Stalls and activities continue
  • Cosplay contest

Standard day pass: €5. Weekend pass: €8. Flash Pass (1 day, priority access): €6. Free for children under 12, people with reduced mobility, and the press.
