The Dîsnée de la Vente des Vins is the prestigious dinner that opens the festivities of the Vente des Vins des Hospices de Beaune weekend each year, one of the most renowned wine events in the world. Organized by the Confrérie du Bailliage de Pommard, this evening takes place on the Friday evening before the auction, at the Caveau de Pommard, located under the village town hall.

The Confrérie du Bailliage de Pommard

The Bailliage de Pommard was conceived in 1969 by Jean-Philippe Lecat, minister and deputy of Côte-d'Or, and officially founded in 1981. For over forty years, this wine brotherhood has been dedicated to promoting the Pommard appellation and transmitting its soul through convivial and gastronomic events.

An exceptional gourmet dinner

The Dîsnée offers a five-course gourmet menu paired with the best wines from Pommard winegrowers. The evening, which runs from 7 PM to midnight, is punctuated by traditional Burgundian entertainment and moments of conviviality between brothers and guests. As the number of places is limited, booking is mandatory.

The wines served during the Dîsnée come exclusively from the winegrowers of the Pommard appellation, one of the most renowned in the Côte de Beaune for its powerful and full-bodied red wines. This evening is a prestigious showcase for local producers, who present their best vintages to the guests.
