Billed as France's biggest reggae festival, this fully independent event has permanently left its historic home at the Forges de Fraisans in the Jura, after a planned move to Ornans, in Doubs, fell through. For regulars used to a different backdrop for twelve years, this weekend is also about discovering the new grounds.
Saint-Fargeau: 600 volunteers and 50 riders for an open-air spectacle
Every Friday and Saturday night in July and August, including August 8, the grounds of the Château de Saint-Fargeau turn into a live open-air fresco. More than 600 volunteer actors and 50 riders bring a thousand years of history back to life: equestrian games, medieval re-enactments, the story of Joan of Arc, the French Revolution, pyrotechnics.
