A festival born from passion

Created in 2022 by the association La Fabrik Artistique, the À L'Arrache festival is the result of the passion of a collective of Verdun volunteers for live music and alternative culture. In just a few editions, the event has established itself as a must-attend end-of-summer gathering in the Meuse region, attracting an ever-growing audience to the historic courtyard of the Margueritte high school.

Two evenings of eclectic concerts

The festival unfolds over two evenings, Friday and Saturday, with a resolutely eclectic program. Each evening, four to five bands perform on the main stage, while a second stage called "Le Phare Meusien" hosts an additional band. The musical genres represented are highly diverse: rock, dub, hip-hop, trip rock, progressive rock, French chanson, metal, reggae, stoner, psychedelic rock, and blues.

Programming and artists

The festival favors a lineup mixing regional artists from the Grand Est and national bands. The 2025 edition notably featured Mickaël Clément & l'Orchestre Sensation, New Caledonia, Kelly Got a Gun, The One Armed Man, LMZG, Rosie, Antechaos, Dudes Of Groove Society, and The Celtic Tramps, demonstrating the richness and variety of the musical selection.

A remarkable heritage setting

The festival takes place in the courtyard of the Margueritte high school, Vauban site, a place steeped in history in the heart of Verdun. This exceptional architectural setting, a legacy of Vauban's fortifications, gives the event a unique atmosphere, blending heritage and modernity.

Beyond the music

À L'Arrache Festival is not limited to concerts. The event features photographic exhibitions throughout both evenings, highlighting the work of local photographers. Festival-goers can also enjoy local catering featuring products from the Meuse region, craft beers from the Meuse, and various artisan stalls.

Organization and accessibility

The festival operates with a token-based cashless system, facilitating on-site transactions. The event is run by a team of passionate volunteers dedicated to offering a quality musical experience in a relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere. Affordable prices—around €10 per evening or €16 for both days—make the festival accessible to a wide audience.
