Since its creation, Alençon Plage has established itself as the unmissable summer event in the prefecture of Orne. Every summer, the Parc des Promenades, the city's green lung, transforms into a leisure and festivities space open to all, combining culture, sport, and conviviality under the banner of freeness.

Alençon Plage offers a rich and varied program that spans over three weeks:

Concerts and shows

Every evening, the Alençon Plage stage hosts concerts of various genres: rock, pop, French chanson, world music, DJ sets... Live shows (street theater, circus, comedy) complete the musical program, offering lively outdoor evenings.

Open-air cinema

Open-air cinema screenings are organized regularly, allowing you to discover or rediscover films in an enchanting setting, under the Normandy stars.

Sports and water activities

Alençon Plage offers various sports activities: windsurfing, paddleboarding, water games, beach volleyball courts, and relaxation areas. Sports introductions are offered for all levels and ages.

A space for the whole family

The event is designed to welcome all generations. Younger children can enjoy play areas, creative workshops, and dedicated activities. Teenagers and adults will find something for them between concerts, sports activities, and relaxation by the water. Catering areas and a refreshment stand allow you to fully enjoy summer evenings.

A renewed theme each year

Each edition revolves around an original theme that is reflected in the decoration and activities. In 2025, the pirate theme transported visitors into a world of adventure and fantasy, with immersive scenography transforming the park into a true pirate hideout.
