Atout Cœurs Festival: the musical event of the Landes spring
Since 2002, the Atout Cœurs Festival has enlivened the village of Benquet, on the outskirts of Mont-de-Marsan, for four days of celebration and music. Born from the desire to bring local associations together around a unifying cultural project, this festival has become, over the editions, a must-attend event in the Landes calendar, attracting a loyal and curious audience from all over the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.
An eclectic and generous program
The strength of Atout Cœurs lies in the diversity of its programming. Each edition mixes musical genres — pop, rock, electro, rap, gospel, French chanson — with national headliners and emerging artists. In 2024, the group Kyo electrified the main stage, while the 2025 edition hosted Superbus, a flagship group of the 2000s, alongside bands like Soulshine Voices, B Fonk, Hugo Ostro, and Kosma.
Activities for all audiences
Beyond the concerts, the festival offers a rich program of activities: street performances for children, an open stage for amateur artists, a bodega with DJ sets, a choral mass on Ascension Day, and country aperitifs. Schoolchildren from the agglomeration also benefit from dedicated performances, making Atout Cœurs a truly intergenerational event.
A festival driven by volunteers
With around 200 volunteers mobilized each year, the Atout Cœurs Festival is above all a human adventure. Associations from Benquet and neighboring towns take turns ensuring reception, catering, logistics, and entertainment in the various areas. This participatory dimension is at the heart of the festival's identity, placing conviviality and social connection on the same level as artistic excellence.
Strong territorial roots
Located in the heart of the village of Benquet, the festival takes over several venues: the main tent for major concerts, the church for acoustic moments, the municipal hall for intimate performances, and the bodega for festive evenings. This occupation of public space transforms the village into a large living area for four days, strengthening the sense of belonging and local pride.
Atout Cœurs — edition 2026
The 24th edition of the Atout Cœurs Festival takes place in Benquet (Landes), at the gates of Mont-de-Marsan, from Tuesday, May 12 to Friday, May 15, 2026, during the Ascension long weekend. Four days of concerts and shows under the big top, in the church, at the municipal hall, and at the bodega, with an eclectic program mixing French chanson, pop, contemporary music, and choral singing. The closing night on Friday, May 15, welcomes Jérémy Frérot, headlining under the main big top.
24th Edition — May 12 to 15, 2026
For its 2026 edition, the Atout Cœurs Festival returns for four days of celebration and music in the heart of the village of Benquet, from Tuesday, May 12 to Friday, May 15, 2026, right during the Ascension weekend. As every year, the program alternates between headliners, discoveries from the new French scene, and participatory creations led by local schools and associations.
Four Evenings, Four Atmospheres
- Tuesday, May 12: grand opening night with the Enfants de l'Agglo — 120 children paying tribute to Daniel Balavoine under the big top — followed by the rock-electro concert of Les Zélectrons Frits.
- Wednesday, May 13: focus on the young French scene, with Luiza (Franco-Brazilian artist, sunny and mixed pop) and the group Léonie, returning to Benquet to promote their new album.
- Thursday, May 14 (Ascension): day dedicated to choral singing, with the Ascension Mass sung by Le Chœur d'Atout Cœurs under the big top, the young audience show Le Bal des Doudous at the municipal hall, and the concert by Argileak, a men's choir from the Basque Country, in the village church.
- Friday, May 15: closing night with Jérémy Frérot in a grand concert under the big top (9:00 PM), preceded by an acoustic set by B-LOW x Janiss Roses on the outdoor stage and extended by a DJ set of Lovaa at the bodega.
Free and Friendly Activities
Beyond the paid concerts, the 2026 edition offers many free-access events: L'Orchestre Solidaire on the outdoor stage on Tuesday evening, Menni Jab on Wednesday as the opening act, La Tribu at the bodega on Thursday evening, an open mic throughout Friday at the bodega, as well as DJ sets every evening to extend the party.
A 100% Volunteer Organization
As every year, the 2026 edition mobilizes approximately 200 volunteers and several partner associations from neighboring communes (notably Mazerolles), who take turns for reception, catering, security, and logistics of the different areas. The bodega offers hot meals, sandwiches, and bars, in a typical Landes atmosphere.

Benquet is located 5 km north of Mont-de-Marsan, easily accessible via the D932.
