A human-sized metal festival by the Loire

Created in 2023 by the association Barbeuk Metal Asso, Barbeuk Metal Fest has quickly established itself as a must-attend event for heavy music lovers in Western France. Located in Champtoceaux, in the municipality of Orée-d'Anjou in Maine-et-Loire, the festival benefits from an exceptional setting by the Loire, just thirty minutes from Nantes.

An international lineup from hard rock to extreme metal

Each year, Barbeuk Metal Fest offers an eclectic program spread over two thematic days. Friday is generally dedicated to hard rock and heavy metal, while Saturday showcases extreme metal. Since its creation, the festival has hosted prestigious international bands such as Tygers of Pan Tang (England), Onslaught (England), Xentrix (England), Angelus Apatrida (Spain), and Hitten (Spain), alongside many emerging French bands.

A friendly spirit and artisanal catering

What sets Barbeuk Metal Fest apart from other metal festivals is its commitment to friendliness and the quality of its catering. All food offered on-site is 100% homemade and local, and breakfast is included in the festival pass price. Camping and parking are available for free throughout the event, fostering a warm and relaxed atmosphere.
