About Bergerac en Scène

Bergerac en Scène is a theatre festival organized by the City of Bergerac since 2022. Every June, the city center comes alive with dozens of performances mixing classical, contemporary, improvisation, forum theatre, and immersive theatre. On Saturday mornings, free street performances and parades animate the streets, while a day or weekend pass grants access to all indoor performances.

Theatre at the heart of Bergerac

Created in 2022, Bergerac en Scène is the theatre festival of the City of Bergerac. Every first weekend of June, the city center transforms into a vast stage hosting dozens of performances in various locations: halls, squares, and streets of the city.

A program for all audiences

The program mixes classical theatre, contemporary theatre, improvisation, forum theatre, and immersive theatre. On Saturday mornings, free street performances and parades surprise passers-by with festive animations throughout the city. Workshops complete the program for amateurs of all ages.

An accessible model

With a system of day or weekend passes at a modest price, the festival makes theatre accessible to the greatest number. The pass grants access to all performances of the chosen day or weekend.
