About Bien l'Bourgeon
Bien l'Bourgeon — edition 2026
9th edition: the forest in the spotlight under the summer sun
For its 9th edition, the Bien l'Bourgeon Festival changes season and takes place from July 3rd to 5th, 2026 in Gresse-en-Vercors, to fully enjoy the mountain setting under the summer sun. The theme chosen for this edition is the forest: sharing of uses, biodiversity, and living together, a subject at the heart of the concerns of the Vercors territory.
An ambitious musical program
The three evenings of concerts promise an intense and eclectic musical journey:
Friday, July 3rd: the legendary New York duo Mobb Deep (US rap) shares the stage with Vin's (rap), Twende Pamoja (electro singeli hip-hop) and Pö (afro electro DJ set), before the return of Acid Arab for an oriental techno DJ set.
Saturday, July 4th: rock and punk song evening with Les Fatals Picards, Les Wampas, Verdée (organic electro songs), Anaïs Rosso (blues pop), Planète Boum Boum (electro songs) and Les Vulves Assassines (electro punk).
Sunday, July 5th: rapper Oxmo Puccino performs alongside Mariam (singing Amadou et Mariam), 2L (rap), Shubiao Quartet (express Mongolian trance), Elsa Forêt (folk songs) and Messkla (afro tropical DJ set).
Engaged days around the forest
During the day, the festival offers a rich program accessible at a free price: ornithological and naturalist walks in the surrounding forests, gesticulated conferences, documentary film screenings, associative village, and live performances. A total immersion in the heart of nature and ecological reflection.

An engaged festival in the heart of Vercors
Nestled at the foot of the majestic Grand Veymont, the highest point of Vercors, the Bien l'Bourgeon Festival is much more than just a musical event: it is a true citizen, sustainable, and unifying project carried by the Grenoble-based association Mix'Arts. Since its creation in 2017, this committed festival has explored the challenges of ecological transition in rural areas each year, combining culture, reflection, and conviviality in an exceptional natural setting.
An eclectic and demanding musical program
The festival evenings offer a rich and diverse musical program, featuring rap, punk, world sound, electro, pop, French chanson, trance, and world music. Among the artists who have graced the Bien l'Bourgeon stage are names like Acid Arab, Kery James, Oxmo Puccino, Les Wampas, Les Fatals Picards, Hilight Tribe, Zoufris Maracas, Luiza, and Benin International Musical. Each edition offers three evenings of concerts accessible by reservation, with particular attention paid to the diversity of genres and artistic origins.
Days dedicated to reflection and sharing
What sets Bien l'Bourgeon apart from other festivals is its committed daytime program, entirely accessible at a free price. Each edition focuses on a strong environmental theme:
- Gestured conferences and round tables on ecological and social issues
- Documentary screenings followed by debates
- Ornithological and nature walks in the Vercors forests
- Associative village bringing together local transition actors
- Live performances and activities for all ages
In 2025, the theme was the media and their coverage of political news and ecological issues. In 2026, it is the forest that takes center stage: sharing of uses, biodiversity, and living together.
Strong territorial anchoring
After several editions in Saint-Geoire-en-Valdaine, the festival settled in Gresse-en-Vercors in 2025, in the heart of Trièves, to take advantage of a striking mountain setting and meet its growing logistical needs. The festival plays an essential role in the economic and social dynamism of the territory, by forging partnerships with local businesses for catering, accommodation, and services. Ecological commitment is at the heart of this approach: carpooling encouraged, organic and local catering, dry toilets, responsible waste management.
A participatory and solidarity-based spirit
Driven by a team of passionate volunteers, the festival cultivates a spirit of openness and solidarity. The free daytime program ensures access to culture for all, while the evening concerts, at affordable prices, contribute to financing the event. The association Mix'Arts, founded in Grenoble, has defended a vision of culture as a lever for social and ecological transformation since its beginnings.
