Festiwild
A festival exploring the bond between humanity and the natural world in the Diois region
2026
About Festiwild
Every year, the former monastery of Sainte-Croix in the Diois region hosts Festiwild, a three-day event featuring films, talks, performances, debates, exhibitions, and nature outings centered on the relationship between humans and the living world. The organizers invite researchers, artists, naturalists, and conservation groups to collectively examine the role of the wild in our modern society.
The festival takes place at the Nouveau Monastère, a cooperative that hosts artistic residencies and cultural programming year-round, and features a village of stalls run by organizations dedicated to biodiversity and ecology.
Festiwild — edition 2026
The 5th edition of Festiwild takes place from Friday, October 9th to Sunday, October 11th, 2026, at the former Sainte-Croix monastery. Actress, author, and director Laëtitia Dosch is the patron of this year's event, championing its core values through her dedicated advocacy for animal welfare.
Over three days, a rich lineup of films, lectures, performances, debates, exhibitions, nature outings, and meet-and-greets invites you to rethink the human relationship with the living world.
Programme Festiwild 2026
The 2026 program has not yet been released by the organizers; it will be added as soon as it becomes available.
