Founded in 2015, Bresstival is an open-air music festival that takes place annually in Bletterans, a small town in the Jura region located in Bresse jurassienne. The event aims to promote the music scene of Burgundy-Franche-Comté by showcasing it alongside nationally renowned artists, in a festive and accessible setting.
Bresstival programs a day of intensive concerts on two stages, with eight bands or artists performing non-stop. The programming is deliberately eclectic, mixing rock, pop, jazz, blues, folk, electro, and French variety, in order to reach the widest possible audience. The founding idea is to create bridges between emerging regional artists and confirmed headliners, allowing the public to discover new talents.
Over the years, Bresstival has hosted various artists and bands such as Lucky Chops, Dub Silence, Nadamas, Jekyll Wood, Hoxy More, Noflipe, and Lobster, mixing New York brass bands, Franche-Comté dub, and independent rock in an always surprising lineup.
