Emerging music festival in Beauce
The Bringuenbeauce Festival is a music festival founded in 2008 in Bailleau-Armenonville, in Eure-et-Loir. Led by the association Regard Culturel, its aim is to discover young talents and offer a professional stage to emerging bands still little known to the general public. The format includes a competition on Friday, a concert by a confirmed artist on Saturday with a supporting act, and family entertainment. The festival has hosted artists such as No One Is Innocent, Luke, Sanseverino, and Renan Luce.
Created at the end of 2007 by Jean-Daniel Martin, municipal councilor of Bailleau-Armenonville and member of ASBA (the village's sports association), the Bringuenbeauce Festival was born from a simple desire: to offer a quality stage to emerging artists in rural areas. The first edition was held from May 23 to 25, 2008, combining concerts, a children's show, and a musical garage sale. Due to its success, the association Regard Culturel was created in October 2008 to structure the event and provide it with the means to grow.
Over the years, the festival has adopted a proven format. On Friday evening, a competition pits several bands selected from about fifty applications against each other, offering the winners visibility and professional support. On Saturday, a confirmed artist or a recognized band performs as the headliner, preceded by a carefully chosen supporting act. This format allows for the discovery of new talents and quality programming.
Over the years, the Bringuenbeauce Festival has attracted renowned artists to its Beaucerone stage. No One Is Innocent, Luke, Sanseverino, and Renan Luce have all performed on the festival's stages, bringing their energy and notoriety to this village event that has become a local reference. DD Swing & Jazz à la Maison, Bastien Lanza, and Fab'M have also contributed to the musical diversity of the lineups, between rock, French chanson, swing, and jazz.
Bailleau-Armenonville, a small town in Beauce Chartraine located a few kilometers from Chartres, transforms for a weekend into a true place of celebration and music. The festival contributes to the cultural animation of this rural territory and creates social bonds between the villagers and visitors from all over the department. On-site catering, children's entertainment, and a friendly atmosphere make Bringuenbeauce a popular family event for everyone.
Driven by passionate volunteers grouped within the Regard Culturel association, the Bringuenbeauce Festival embodies the associative and festive spirit of small provincial festivals. The commitment of the organizers, the support of the municipality, and the loyalty of the public allow this event to endure and renew itself edition after edition, always in a spirit of musical discovery and sharing.
