About Canta'l Rock
The Canta'l Rock Festival Bike Show is a rock, motorcycle, and American car festival organized every summer at the Lioran resort, on the Prairie des Sagnes at an altitude of 1250 meters. Created in 2019 by the Canta'l Rock association based in Aurillac, this unique event combines rock concerts, an exhibition of Choppers, Café Racers and Bobbers, an FMX show by Sébastien Bouyssou, a US vehicle parade, and a Bike Show contest, all in an exceptional natural setting at the foot of the Plomb du Cantal.

In the heart of the Cantal massif, at an altitude of 1250 meters, the Prairie des Sagnes in the Lioran resort transforms every summer into a temple of rock and biker culture. The Canta'l Rock Festival Bike Show, born in 2019 from the passion of a group of bikers and rockers united within the Canta'l Rock association in Aurillac, has become an unmissable event in the Cantal department in just a few editions. For three days, the festival offers an explosive program combining live concerts, exhibitions of customized motorcycles and vintage American cars, in a festive and friendly atmosphere.
A Unique Concept: Rock, Motorcycles, and American Cars
What sets Canta'l Rock apart from other festivals in the region is its hybrid identity. The festival is not limited to music; it celebrates an entire culture. Rock concerts are the heart of the event, with an eclectic program ranging from rockabilly to hard rock, including punk, blues, and industrial metal. Each edition hosts between six and eight bands over the three days, featuring original formations and tribute bands honoring the greatest names in rock.
Alongside the music stage, the Bike Show Contest brings together the most beautiful machines: Choppers, Café Racers, Bobbers, and customs of all kinds are exhibited and judged by a jury. American vehicle enthusiasts are not left out, with an exhibition dedicated to American cars that delights lovers of beautiful chrome bodies. The FMX show (Freestyle Motocross) by Sébastien Bouyssou adds a dose of adrenaline with spectacular acrobatic feats.

The choice of the Lioran resort as the festival venue is no coincidence. Nestled at the foot of the Plomb du Cantal, the highest point of the massif at 1855 meters, the Prairie des Sagnes offers a magnificent panorama of the Auvergne volcanoes. 7th Edition: From Theatrical Rock to Industrial Metal
The 7th edition of the Canta'l Rock Festival Bike Show will take place from Friday, July 24 to Sunday, July 26, 2026, on the Prairie des Sagnes in Lioran. With 7 bands announced, the festival offers a bold and varied program, exploring genres from theatrical rock to industrial metal, including Celtic punk and rock'n'roll.
Headlining on Saturday, Franck Carducci & The Fantastic Squad will deliver a theatrical rock show with 70s influences, evoking the worlds of Pink Floyd, Supertramp, and Led Zeppelin, with elaborate staging and spectacular costumes. Toxic Frogs, a festive and explosive Celtic punk band fronted by a female singer, will bring a wave of Irish madness. Rosenkreuz, a gothic industrial metal quintet affiliated with Neue Deutsche Härte, will combine martial rhythms, electronic production, and dark aesthetics.
The lineup also includes Cadillac Rumble (rock'n'roll), Betty Creep who will cover rock classics from the 60s to the 2000s with raw and irresistible energy, Red on Pili Pili in a spicy Red Hot Chili Peppers tribute mixing funk and rock with humor, and Yarglaa, a power trio of garage rock, rockabilly, and country with overflowing energy.
As every year, Sébastien Bouyssou's FMX show, the Bike Show Contest, the exhibition of motorcycles and American cars, the fireworks display, and entertainment will complete this weekend of festivities at the summit of the volcanoes.

Location
The festival takes place on the Prairie des Sagnes, in the center of the Lioran resort, 15300 Laveissière. The site is located at an altitude of 1250 meters, at the foot of the Plomb du Cantal.
Access
- By car: Lioran is accessible via the RN122 (Aurillac - Murat road). From Aurillac, allow about 45 minutes. From Murat, about 20 minutes. From Clermont-Ferrand, allow about 2 hours via the A75 then the RN122.
- By train: Lioran SNCF station (Aurillac - Clermont-Ferrand line). The station is located very close to the festival site.
Parking
Several free parking lots are available at the Lioran resort, near the Prairie des Sagnes. A dedicated motorcycle parking area is usually provided.
