About Cap Ferret Music
The Cap Ferret Music Festival is a classical music festival organized every summer in Lège-Cap-Ferret, on the Arcachon Basin peninsula. Under the artistic direction of pianist Hélène Berger, it offers about twenty concerts in emblematic venues on the peninsula, performed by nationally and internationally renowned artists.

The 12th edition of the Cap Ferret Music Festival takes place from July 4 to 11, 2026, in Lège-Cap-Ferret, on the Bassin d'Arcachon peninsula. Around twenty classical music concerts in emblematic venues on the peninsula, under the artistic direction of pianist Hélène Berger.
Cap Ferret Music Festival 2026 — 12th edition
From July 4 to 11, 2026, the Cap Ferret Music Festival returns for its 12th edition in Lège-Cap-Ferret. Held in emblematic venues on the peninsula (Mimbeau beach, La Conche, Ubeda square in Le Canon, Piquey Forest House, Foyer Alice Girou in Lège Bourg, Jane de Boy in Claouey…), the festival offers around twenty classical music concerts performed by nationally and internationally renowned artists, in an exceptional natural setting.
Beyond the concerts, the festival hosts a Music Academy (70 trainees, 15 professors, 7 workshops, 12 public masterclasses), concerts by young award-winning talents, and the Orchestra of Young Pianists of Bassin d'Arcachon.

Highlights of the 2026 edition
- Saturday, July 4, 10 PM — Opening concert on the beach (free).
- Sunday, July 5, 9 PM — « The Book of Life », orchestral work with choir and soloists, under the direction of composer-conductor Laurent Couson (16 musicians and 30 choristers from the Ensemble Vocal d'Aquitaine).
- Monday, July 6, 9 PM — Lyatoshynsky Trio at La Conche (Mykhaylo Zakharov, violin; Susanne Szambelan, cello; Artem Yasynskyy, piano): Brahms, Lyatoshynsky, Piazzolla.
- Tuesday, July 7, 9 PM — « Piano Voyageur », Ubeda square in Le Canon: Duo Mouseion (piano four hands) and Rebecca Omordia (solo piano).
- Wednesday, July 8, 9 PM — « Winds & Wonders », wind quintet at the Piquey Forest House, with musicians from the Orchestre philharmonique de Strasbourg.
- Thursday, July 9, 9 PM — « Jazz à Jane », tribute to the centenaries of Coltrane and Miles Davis, with David Pastor (trumpet) and the Nakama Quintet.
- Friday, July 10, 8:30 PM — Academy Gala (free).

Practical Information
Concerts are held in several locations on the Lège-Cap-Ferret peninsula (plage du Mimbeau, La Conche, place Ubeda au Canon, Maison forestière de Piquey, Foyer Alice Girou à Lège Bourg, Jane de Boy à Claouey…), approximately 50 km from Bordeaux.
Online ticketing on the official website; on-site sales at the peninsula's markets and 30 minutes before concerts, subject to availability. Indicative prices: from 16 to 26 € per concert, premium "all concerts" pass around 180 €. Several concerts are free (opening on the beach, Academy gala).
