Château-Chalon en Fête is a festive event organized every summer by the association Les Amis de Château-Chalon. This popular event takes over the village of Château-Chalon, listed among the Most Beautiful Villages in France and world-renowned for its Vin Jaune, for two days in July.

An exceptional village as a setting

Château-Chalon is perched on a rocky spur overlooking the reculée de Baume-les-Messieurs, offering a spectacular panorama of the Jura vineyards and the Bresse plain. This medieval village, with its cobbled streets, winegrower houses, and the ruins of its feudal castle, provides a unique setting for a popular festival. The exceptional wine terroir — Château-Chalon AOC appellation, exclusively dedicated to Vin Jaune — permeates the entire life of the village.

Saturday Program: Market and Entertainment

Saturday is dedicated to the market of local producers and arts and crafts. Visitors can discover:
