About Comic Book Festival
Every year, the La Bande à BD association brings together comic book authors in a different town within the intercommunal area, rotating between Bram, Castelnaudary, Labastide-d'Anjou, and Salles-sur-l'Hers. The format remains the same each edition: meet-and-greets and signings with around fifteen authors, a partner bookstore on-site to pick up your favorite albums, and free admission for all.
Comic Book Festival — edition 2026
For its 6th edition, the festival moves to the Espace en Gauzy in Salles-sur-l'Hers, following previous years in Bram, Castelnaudary, and Labastide-d'Anjou. Sixteen authors are invited, including Didier Crisse, who created this year's poster, as well as Brigitte and Serge Carrère, Hugues Labiano, and Julie Vigne. The Détours bookstore from Nailloux will host a stand throughout the weekend, and local schoolchildren will showcase their own comic strips, with an awards ceremony held during Saturday's opening.
