Courtoujours is a festival dedicated to short films, organized annually in January in Lannion and several towns in Trégor. Supported by the association I Somnambuli, the festival highlights the diversity and richness of short cinema through an eclectic program mixing fiction, animation, and documentary.

Traveling screenings in Trégor

The festival takes place at several venues: the Carré Magique (national center for circus and street arts) and the cinema Les Baladins in Lannion, as well as in the neighboring towns of La Roche-Jaudy, Plouaret, and Trédrez-Locquémeau. This traveling dimension allows cinema to reach the inhabitants of the region more closely, in sometimes unexpected places.

A participatory and friendly festival

Courtoujours stands out for its participatory spirit: film quizzes, meetings with directors, special children's screenings, and moments of sharing around the projections. The festival also offers school screenings and workshops for children, making short films a vector for visual education and artistic discovery.

Twenty years of short films

With its 20th edition scheduled for January 2026, Courtoujours celebrates two decades of passion for short films. The association I Somnambuli has launched a call for entries for films of three minutes maximum on the theme 'Mais non, 20 ans déjà ?' ('Oh no, 20 years already?'), demonstrating the vitality and creativity of this festival rooted in the cultural landscape of Trégor.
