Creil Colors: The Celebration of Musical Diversity

Since 2013, Creil Colors has established itself as one of the major cultural events in the city of Creil and the southern Oise region. This grand free outdoor concert, organized for the Fête de la Musique (Music Day), celebrates the cultural and musical diversity of this dynamic city in the Hauts-de-France region.

An Exceptional Venue: La Faïencerie

The festival takes place at the Espace culturel de la Faïencerie (Faïencerie Cultural Space), in the heart of Île Saint-Maurice. This emblematic site in Creil, a former earthenware factory converted into a cultural space, offers a green and spacious setting ideal for an outdoor event. The forecourt of the Faïencerie and the Manufacture hall are transformed into concert stages for the occasion.

An Eclectic Musical Program

Creil Colors offers a rich and varied program, reflecting the city's cultural diversity:

  • Headliners from the French scene: renowned artists in rap, soul, jazz, and chanson.
  • Emerging artists and local talents as opening acts.
  • Students from the Nina Simone Conservatory and the Jeune Chœur de l'Oise for a moment of musical sharing.
  • World Music: afrobeat, reggae, and sounds from afar.

Renowned Artists

Over the years, Creil Colors has hosted top artists such as Oxmo Puccino, Kimberose, Sweet Mary Gold, and Afrorok, confirming the festival's ambition to offer a high-quality program accessible to all.

A Cultural and Festive Village

Beyond the concerts, Creil Colors features a cultural village where associations and local figures showcase their activities. Food and drink stalls provide refreshments in a friendly atmosphere. The event traditionally concludes the Fête des Associations (Associations Festival), a family day to discover the richness of Creil's associations.

A Unifying Event

Organized by the City of Creil in partnership with La Grange à Musique, a contemporary music venue, Creil Colors embodies the values of sharing, diversity, and living together that characterize this city. The festival brings together around 5,000 spectators of all ages and backgrounds each year in a festive and welcoming spirit.
