The techno and electronic music festival in the heart of the Norman countryside in Hambye
Born in 2017 in Hambye, a small village in La Manche nestled in the Sienne valley, the Dox'Art Festival has established itself as the major event for electronic music and underground culture in the Grand Ouest of France. Organized by the Dox'Art Company association, founded in 2016, the festival is entirely run by passionate volunteers in a DIY (Do It Yourself) spirit.
Over four days and three nights, the Dox'Art Festival features five areas with distinct atmospheres. The Chapi'teuf is dedicated to techno and hardgroove sounds. The Open Mind Stage explores the realms of psytrance and progressive, with spectacular sound and light shows. La Piste offers a musical journey between house, deep, micro minimal, dark disco, and experimental music. The DBH provides a chill space with ambient, dub, electro jazz, and acoustic concerts. Finally, the Agora is a place for exchanging ideas and artistic experimentation: performances, workshops, and round tables.
Located in the heart of the Norman countryside, near the famous Hambye Abbey, the festival benefits from a remarkable natural setting. Camping is free, as is parking, and the atmosphere is intended to be friendly and accessible. The site also hosts artistic installations, visual projections, and activities centered around underground culture.
Since its first summer edition in 2017, the Dox'Art Festival has grown year by year, evolving from a small gathering of electronic music enthusiasts into a recognized event attracting several thousand festival-goers from all over France. The 2025 edition (8th) took place from June 26 to 29, and the 9th edition is scheduled from June 25 to 28, 2026, confirming Dox'Art's lasting presence in the Norman festival landscape.
