Festival of lyrical arts and voice in Auch
Éclats de Voix is a unique festival, entirely dedicated to the voice and lyrical arts. Founded in 1998 by Patrick de Chirée, it has become an unmissable event on the Gascon music scene, attracting passionate artists and spectators every June.
The festival cultivates a harmonious blend of genres with contagious enthusiasm. From lyrical emotion to daring farce, each evening offers a concert of a different style: opera, French song, gospel, world music, polyphonic singing, musical comedy. The festival creates a dialogue between vocal traditions from around the world.
The concerts take place in the most remarkable heritage sites of Auch: the Sainte-Marie Cathedral, the Theatre, the Salle du Mouzon. The exceptional acoustics of these spaces enhance vocal performances and offer a unique experience to spectators.
True to the Gascon spirit, Éclats de Voix emphasizes proximity between artists and the public. Encounters, exchanges, and moments of conviviality are an integral part of the festival.
The 29th edition of the Éclats de Voix Festival will take place from June 9 to 14, 2026 in Auch, with an exceptional prelude on May 30 in tribute to Béatrice Uria-Monzon, the festival's patron who passed away in 2025. The program includes: Yves Duteil in a trio (a retrospective of 50 years of career), Swing Cockt'Elles directed by Alain Sachs, Ensemble La Sportelle, Hervé Suhubiette and Étienne Manchon with "Chansons Bach", Va Piano, Forget Me Not and the new creation "NAOS" by Les Conférences Vocales directed by Laetitia Toulouse at Sainte-Marie Cathedral.
