Festiv'Allier: The New French Scene in Lozère
Since 2005, Festiv'Allier has established itself as one of the major cultural events in Lozère and Haut-Allier. Created by the association Les Fadarelles, this free festival invites the new French chanson scene, street arts, and contemporary circus to take over the streets, squares, and gardens of Langogne for five days every summer.
A Festival in the Heart of Langogne
Located on the banks of the Allier, the town of Langogne offers an exceptional natural setting to host this open-air festival. Concerts take place on a main stage set up in the town center, while more intimate stages are found in the city's gardens and alleys, creating a warm atmosphere close to the audience. Place René Aurand becomes the beating heart of the event, where artists and spectators gather in a spirit of sharing and conviviality.
A Rich and Eclectic Program
Festiv'Allier showcases the diversity of the contemporary French-speaking scene: chanson, slam, poetry, hip-hop, festive and sunny music. The festival also features contemporary circus performances and street arts that animate the entire town. Artists take over public spaces to offer surprising and accessible performances for everyone.

The festival places great importance on young audiences with the Festiv'Mômes area, offering shows, workshops, and activities specially designed for children and families. This dedicated program allows all generations to fully enjoy the event.
A Commitment to Culture in Rural Areas
Led by Les Fadarelles, a dynamic cultural association in Langogne, Festiv'Allier embodies a strong commitment to access to culture in rural areas. Beyond the summer festival, the association hosts a cultural season throughout the year, offering concerts, shows, and festive events like the Carnival or InterFolk48, thus contributing to the cultural vitality of Haut-Allier.
A Free and Friendly Festival
True to its values of accessibility, Festiv'Allier is a completely free festival.
