A must-attend event for book lovers
The Festival À la Page is a cultural event dedicated to independent literary creation and self-publishing. Organized by Sabrina Deseigne and her team, this festival is part of the Month of the Book in Brittany and brings together authors and professionals from the self-publishing world from all over France.
A rich and varied program
More than 80 exhibitors participate in the event, including nearly 60 self-published authors presenting their works in all literary genres: novels, poetry, comics, crime novels, children's literature, and documentaries. The festival also hosts over 20 book professionals including proofreaders, illustrators, beta readers, literary agents, biographers, and writing coaches.
Activities for the whole family
The day is punctuated by free activities for children and adults, with writing workshops, author meet-and-greets, a raffle, and contests. Admission to the festival is completely free, allowing all audiences to discover the richness of Breton and French independent literary creation.
A hybrid and participatory festival
The Festival À la Page stands out for its hybrid approach, combining literary discovery, professional meetings, and family conviviality. It's a unique opportunity to meet authors directly, discover their worlds, and actively participate in the various workshops offered throughout the day.
