Street, Circus, and Fire Arts Festival in Châlette-sur-Loing
Organized by the association Arts Ô Loing, the Festival Arts de Rue et du Feu is a festive, family-friendly, and supportive event that takes over the Louis Aragon leisure center in Châlette-sur-Loing, in the Loiret region, every September. Born in 2025, this gathering celebrates street arts, circus, music, and pyrotechnic shows in a warm and friendly atmosphere, on the banks of the Châlette-sur-Loing lake, near Montargis.
Since its creation in 2025, the Festival Arts de Rue et du Feu, supported by the association Arts Ô Loing, has established itself as a must-attend event for the performing arts in the Loiret region. Every year, in September, the Louis Aragon leisure center and the surroundings of the Châlette-sur-Loing lake are transformed into a vast playground for street artists, circus performers, musicians, and fire jugglers.
The Arts Ô Loing association was founded in 2024 by a team of artists, artisans, and performing arts enthusiasts, driven by a passion for creating happy memories. The association works to promote circus and street arts, offering monthly events throughout the year at the Châlette-sur-Loing lake where children, teenagers, and adults can discover and practice these artistic disciplines. The festival is the annual culmination of this cultural dynamic.
The festival offers a varied program that blends street theater, circus arts, live music, and fire shows. Under a large tent and in the open air, spectators can enjoy acrobatic performances, clown acts, line dance initiations, batucada and percussion concerts, as well as participatory workshops for all ages. The event hosts companies and artists such as Batucada Sambar'Ouf, Compagnie Sans Nom, Lili Clownette, Snoopy Monsieur Loyal, FrankyembraZ, and Sïka Officiel.
The most anticipated moment remains the Saturday evening pyrotechnic show, the true highlight of the festival. Fire jugglers, fire eaters, and LED performers transform the night into a ballet of lights and flames, offering the audience an enchanting nocturnal spectacle. The festival is actively seeking fire artists—jugglers, flame eaters—and visual performers skilled in light and LED to enrich this unique evening.
The Festival Arts de Rue et du Feu is distinguished by its free and accessible nature for everyone. Designed as an intergenerational event, it offers activities suitable for both children and adults, in a spirit of sharing and conviviality. The Arts Ô Loing association makes it a point of honor that everyone can feel welcome, whether they are an artist or a visitor, curious or passionate. The festival is supported by volunteers and local partners, and a participatory collection on HelloAsso allows everyone to contribute to its realization.
Located in the heart of Châlette-sur-Loing, in immediate proximity to Montargis, the festival benefits from a green and peaceful setting by the lake. Accessible by train from Paris via the Châlette-sur-Loing station (TER from Paris Gare de Lyon or Gare de Bercy towards Montargis), the site welcomes festival-goers in an environment conducive to relaxation and artistic discovery.
The 2nd edition of the Festival Arts de Rue et du Feu will take place during the first half of September 2026 in Châlette-sur-Loing. The Arts Ô Loing association is preparing an enriched program with new fire artists, visual performers skilled in light and LED, as well as acoustic musicians suitable for outdoor performances.
