About De Jam en Jazz
The Festival De Jam en Jazz is a free jazz festival organized every summer in Callac, in the Côtes-d'Armor. Created in 2019 by the association Argo'art, this open-air festival is held at the Kan an Dour space, by the Verte Vallée pond. For three to four days in July, it offers concerts of jazz, bossa nova, blues, folk, and funk, as well as jam sessions, musical workshops, and entertainment. Admission is by donation, in a spirit of conviviality and accessibility.

Open-air jazz in Callac
The Festival De Jam en Jazz was born in 2019 on the initiative of the association Argo'art, with the support of a crowdfunding campaign on KissKissBankBank. This open-air jazz festival is held every summer at the espace Kan an Dour, by the étang de la Verte Vallée, in a green and peaceful natural setting in Callac, in the heart of Kreiz Breizh.
Jazz, bossa, blues, and jam sessions
The festival's program mixes jazz, bossa nova, blues, folk, and funk, with a significant focus on jam sessions which are at the heart of the event's identity. The festival invites various ensembles — duos, trios, quintets — and encourages spontaneous musical encounters between artists and amateur musicians. Musical workshops and entertainment complete the program, in a participatory and festive spirit.
An accessible and friendly festival
True to its philosophy of accessibility, the Festival De Jam en Jazz offers free admission. Young people aged 15 to 18 can benefit from the Pass Culture to book their place. The Argo'art association, which organizes the festival, is committed to promoting live music in rural areas, contributing to the cultural animation of central Brittany.
