The free and popular festival of the Angers agglomeration
Created in 1996, the Festival de Trélazé is a free music event that takes place every summer at the Parc du Vissoir, on the outskirts of Angers. Organized by the City of Trélazé and the association Arena Loire Trélazé, this festival takes place every summer at the Parc du Vissoir, a 12-hectare green space located in Trélazé, in the Angers agglomeration.
The Festival de Trélazé offers about fifteen concerts each year, spread over nearly a month, from Fête de la Musique (June 21) to mid-July. The programming mixes national headliners and emerging artists, across all musical genres: French chanson, rock, pop, reggae, hip-hop, jazz, world music, variety. Among the artists who have graced the festival stages: Yannick Noah, Barbara Pravi, Olivia Ruiz, Pascal Obispo, Tiakola, Thomas Dutronc, Eagle-Eye Cherry, Burning Spear, Cali, Joey Starr, and many others.
The DNA of the Festival de Trélazé is its freeness. Since its creation, all concerts have been free access, without reservation. This philosophy makes the festival an intergenerational event, bringing together families, young people, music lovers, and the curious in a relaxed and festive atmosphere.
