An eclectic festival by the Marne

Born in 2012 under the name Ferté Jazz Festival, the Festival des 2 Rivières takes its name from the magnificent natural setting of the Espace des 2 Rivières in La Ferté-sous-Jouarre, located at the confluence of the Marne and the Petit Morin. What started as a jazz festival gradually opened up to all musical genres, becoming a resolutely eclectic event where jazz, funk, soul, blues, rock, French chanson, pop, world music, and electronic music meet.

A high-level program

Over the years, the festival has hosted internationally renowned artists: Gregory Porter (2017), Marcus Miller (2012), Kassav' (2021), Louis Bertignac (2023), Christophe Maé (2024). The 15th edition in 2026 confirms this rise in power with an exceptional lineup bringing together Fatoumata Diawara, Superbus, Gaël Faye, Claudio Capéo, Thomas Dutronc, Caravan Palace, KYO, MPL, Mountain Men, and Earth Wind & Fire Experience by Al McKay over more than 20 concerts spread across 2 stages.

A human-sized festival in a bucolic setting

The Festival des 2 Rivières cultivates the spirit of a human-sized festival, prioritizing proximity between artists and the public. The Espace des 2 Rivières, a vast tree-lined park on the banks of the Marne, offers a rural and green setting that contrasts with large urban festivals. A free open-air stage allows everyone to enjoy concerts under the lime trees, while the Grande Scène hosts the headliners in a festive and friendly atmosphere.

An inclusive pricing policy

True to its commitment to accessibility, the festival offers an inclusive pricing policy with controlled prices and free open-air concerts. This philosophy has helped to build a loyal family and multigenerational audience, making the Festival des 2 Rivières a popular event in the noblest sense of the word.

11,000 festival-goers: constant growth

Since its creation, the festival has continued to grow, evolving from a niche event to a major fixture on the Seine-et-Marne festival calendar. The record of 11,000 festival-goers testifies to the growing enthusiasm for this event which offers, just an hour from Paris, a quality musical and rural getaway.
