Bob'Arts: Musical Eclecticism in the Heart of Berry

Since 2013, the Festival des Bob'Arts has enlivened Le Blanc, a charming town in the Creuse valley, with two evenings of eclectic and festive concerts. Born from the energy of the association En Chantier, this human-sized festival has forged a unique identity: that of a musical event open to all genres and all discoveries, in a friendly and generous atmosphere.

Two Evenings of Eclectic Concerts

Each edition of the Festival des Bob'Arts offers two evenings of concerts at the Prairies de la Creuse, a natural site by the river that offers a green and peaceful setting. The programming emphasizes eclecticism: progressive and psychedelic rock, Balkan music, reggae, brass band mixing traditional and electronic influences, rock, folk, and many other styles follow one another on stage. The artists programmed, often from vibrant alternative scenes, deliver energetic and surprising performances.

A Festive and Accessible Spirit

The Festival des Bob'Arts stands out for its relaxed and warm atmosphere. Prices remain very affordable—€10 per evening in presale, €16 for the two-day pass—and the site offers homemade food prepared with care, a well-stocked bar, free parking, and even free camping for festival-goers who wish to extend the experience. The spirit of the festival is resolutely popular and participatory, true to the values of the organizing association.

The En Chantier Association

The En Chantier association, founded in Le Blanc, is the driving force behind the Festival des Bob'Arts. Driven by a team of passionate volunteers, it works to promote live music in rural areas and to foster cultural activity in the region. Beyond the festival, the association organizes cultural events throughout the year, contributing to the dynamism of cultural life in the south of Indre.

An Exceptional Natural Setting

The Prairies de la Creuse, located on the banks of the Creuse river on the road to Châteauroux, offer an ideal natural setting for an open-air festival. The vast, green space can accommodate festival-goers in optimal comfort conditions, with a main stage and areas for food and relaxation set up for the occasion.
