An exceptional site: the castles of Bruniquel

The castles of Bruniquel are among the best-preserved medieval sites in Tarn-et-Garonne. Founded in the 12th and 13th centuries, their towers and keeps have overlooked the Aveyron valley for nearly a thousand years. The village of Bruniquel itself, with its cobbled streets and ochre stone houses climbing around the castles, is classified among the Most Beautiful Villages of France.

The festival performances take place on the esplanade of the castles, an open-air terrace offering a panoramic view of the surrounding valleys.
