The modern board game festival in Gundershoffen
Organized by the association A Koi K'on Joue ?, the Festival des Gunder'Games transforms the Dinah Faust hall of L'ESCALe in Gundershoffen into a huge play area dedicated to modern board games every year. For two days, families, friends, and enthusiasts gather to discover hundreds of games, participate in tournaments, meet renowned game authors, and share moments of conviviality. Born from the passion of a group of players gathered within the association A Koi K'on Joue ?, the Festival des Gunder'Games has quickly established itself as a must-attend event for modern board game enthusiasts in the Bas-Rhin. The event takes place in the spacious Dinah Faust hall, within the L'ESCALe complex in Gundershoffen, offering an ideal setting to welcome hundreds of players.
The festival offers a wide choice of playful activities accessible to all ages and levels. Free play areas allow you to discover the latest in the gaming world, while tournaments spice up the atmosphere for more competitive players. The famous giant Werewolf games bring participants together in a supercharged atmosphere, and raffles offer the chance to win games to take home.
One of the highlights of the Gunder'Games is the presence of renowned game authors, such as Stefan Feld, guest of honor for the 2025 edition. These meetings allow visitors to discover the behind-the-scenes of game creation, test prototypes, and interact directly with the creators.
True to the spirit of board games, the festival emphasizes conviviality and accessibility. Admission is completely free, and on-site catering allows you to spend the day without leaving the warm atmosphere of the event. On Saturday, the evening opening until 10 PM offers a special ambiance, conducive to extended games with friends.
Supported by passionate volunteers, the festival is part of the cultural and associative dynamic of Gundershoffen and the Pays de Haguenau.
