The Festival des Quatre Temps has established itself as a must-attend event on the alternative music scene in Indre-et-Loire. Every autumn, the Espace Culturel Les Quatre Vents in Rouziers-de-Touraine, a small town north of Tours, hosts this friendly and committed festival run by the association Karos Nuclée. In just a few editions, the event has built a loyal regional and national audience thanks to its rich and inclusive musical programming.

The festival stands out for the diversity of its programming, which mixes rock, French chanson, ska, funk, punk, world music, brass bands, and unclassifiable music. Friday evening is the musical highlight with concerts by established artists from the alternative scene, while Saturday offers a day open to everyone with activities, workshops, and free concerts. Among the artists who have graced the festival's stage are names like Les Hurlements d'Léo, Les Fils de Teuhpu, Cartoon Machine, and Cumbia Boom Box.

The festival takes place at the Espace Culturel Les Quatre Vents, a concert and event venue located on RD2 in Les Blourdiers, Rouziers-de-Touraine. A Two-Part Festival

The originality of the Festival des Quatre Temps lies in its two-part format. Friday evening is dedicated to concerts, with doors opening at 7 PM and three bands performing until late at night. Saturday is a festive and free day, with activities for the whole family: Japanese games (Japanese billiards, giant Jenga), dance demonstrations, and an evening concert. This format attracts a diverse audience, from alternative music fans to local families.

An Associative and Participatory Spirit

Run by the association Karos Nuclée, the festival relies on the commitment of passionate volunteers who work year-round to organize this event. The participatory spirit and local roots are at the heart of the project, with the aim of creating social connections and fostering culture in rural areas.
