About Festival LUN.E.S
LUN.E.S is a contemporary circus and movement arts festival organised annually in the Montpellier metropolitan area and Hérault by the artistic cooperative Créature.s Créatrice.s. Conceived as a season spread from spring to summer, it takes over about ten venues (theatres, urban spaces, atypical sites) and champions contemporary, committed, and open creation blending acrobatics, dance, performance, and theatre.

Carried by the artistic cooperative Créature.s Créatrice.s, LUN.E.S is a season of contemporary circus and movement arts deployed in the Montpellier metropolitan area and Hérault. The festival invests about ten structures and venues — national theatres, urban spaces, and unconventional sites — to foster dialogue between gestural heritage and current scenic writings.
The programme gives space to plural, alternative, and subversive imaginaries, with shows that question gender transitions, migration, ecological issues, and the place of women artists. The festival also offers meetings, mediation actions, and transmission projects, with particular attention paid to new generations.

LUN.E.S Festival 2026 — 4th edition
The 4th edition of the LUN.E.S festival takes place from March 10 to June 5, 2026, across about ten venues in the Montpellier metropolitan area and Hérault. Conceived as a season of contemporary circus and movement arts, it is presented by the artistic cooperative Créature.s Créatrice.s.
The program explores the expressions of circus and the moving body, blending acrobatics, dance, performance, and theater. The shows take place in theaters (Théâtre Jean Vilar, Théâtre La Vista, Théâtre Jean-Claude Carrière at Domaine d'O, Chai du Terral in Saint-Jean-de-Védas) as well as urban spaces and atypical venues, in Montpellier, Lavérune, Juvignac, Saint-Jean-de-Védas, Frontignan, Sète, and Alès.
