Musiques Démesurées: The Adventure of Contemporary Music Creation

The Musiques Démesurées festival was born in 1999 in Clermont-Ferrand with an ambitious goal: to awaken curiosity for contemporary and experimental music creation. Organized by the association Musique d'aujourd'hui à Clermont Musiques Démesurées, the festival has become, in over 25 years, a major event for contemporary music in France.

A Unique Sound Laboratory

Each edition, Musiques Démesurées offers an immersion into the diversity and inventiveness of contemporary musical and sound creation. The festival explores all territories of today's music:
