Saint-Malo Sacred Music Festival — 2026 Edition
The Saint-Malo Sacred Music Festival returns from July 16 to August 9, 2026 to the places of worship in the privateer city: Saint-Vincent Cathedral, Sainte-Croix Church, and Saint-Ideuc Church. Created in 1972 following the reopening of the cathedral, restored after the destructions of the Second World War, the festival has been celebrating the repertoire of sacred music and fostering encounters between passionate amateurs and professional artists for over fifty years.
The 2026 edition invites the public on a journey to Italy, focusing on Vivaldi and Durante. As every year, a choral singing workshop brings participants together within the Festival Choir, which performs alongside the Saint-Malo Symphony Orchestra. The event also offers free lectures before concerts and opportunities for discussion with the performers.
