The scallop celebrates in Baie de Canche
Created in 2018, the Festival of the Scallop Saint-Jacques in Étaples-sur-Mer celebrates every spring the Pecten Maximus fished by the scallop fishermen of the Étaples fleet. Set up on the symbolic quays of the port in Baie de Canche, this gastronomic festival brings together more than 20,000 visitors for tastings, culinary demonstrations by local chefs, Celtic folk concerts, and maritime activities. Organized by AS Étaples Football Club and 120 volunteers, it has become a must-attend event for gastronomy in the Hauts-de-France region.
