About Rire Onet
Created in 2010, the Festival Rire Onet is an annual event dedicated to humor that opens the cultural season in Onet-le-Château every September. For three days, the Théâtre La Baleine hosts comedians with varied styles — stand-up, one-man show, silly humor, dark or engaged humor — for evenings of laughter and good cheer. The festival also offers shows at the Café Culturel Le Krill and activities for young audiences.

Every September, the Festival Rire Onet kicks off the cultural season in Onet-le-Château in a festive and relaxed atmosphere. Since 2010, this humor festival has established itself as a must-attend event for laughter lovers in Aveyron.

The shows mainly take place at the Théâtre La Baleine, a municipal venue with 420 seats located at 25 place des Artistes in Onet-le-Château. This theater, with its excellent acoustics, offers an ideal intimate setting for comedy shows. Additional performances are offered at the Café Culturel Le Krill, with shorter and more relaxed formats.

The 17th edition of the Festival Rire Onet is expected at the end of September 2026 at the Théâtre La Baleine in Onet-le-Château. The humor festival will once again open the cultural season with artists of various styles.
