Photography festival dedicated to nature and wildlife
The Festival Signé Nature is a photography festival created in 2011 in Saint-Étienne-aux-Clos by the association Silva “Photographions la Nature”. This event dedicated to the discovery and protection of wildlife offers exhibitions by wildlife photographers, film screenings, conferences, nature walks, and a children's drawing contest over three days in July.
Created in 2011 by the association Silva “Photographions la Nature”, the Festival Signé Nature is a major event for wildlife and nature photography in Corrèze. Organized annually in Saint-Étienne-aux-Clos, the festival aims to raise public awareness about the discovery and protection of wildlife.
For three days in July, the village of Saint-Étienne-aux-Clos transforms into an open-air gallery with exhibitions by wildlife photographers from Limousin and other regions of France. The festival showcases the work of nature photographers while raising awareness about environmental preservation.
The festival offers a rich and varied program: photographic exhibitions featuring around twenty wildlife photographers, film screenings of nature documentaries, thematic conferences (in 2025, the theme focused on the preservation of old-growth forests), and nature walks to discover local fauna and flora.
Local artisans and nature management and protection organizations are also present to engage with the public on environmental issues. The festival thus creates a meeting space between photographers, naturalists, and the general public.
The Festival Signé Nature opens its doors to the younger generation through the “Draw Nature” drawing contest, aimed at kindergarten and elementary school classes. Each year, over 300 children from schools in Corrèze, Puy-de-Dôme, and Hérault participate in this contest, drawing their vision of nature. A great initiative to educate new generations about environmental protection.
The Festival Signé Nature 2026 will take place from July 17 to 19 in Saint-Étienne-aux-Clos. The 16th edition will feature photo exhibitions, conferences, nature walks, and the “Draw Nature” contest.
The Festival Signé Nature will return for its 16th edition from July 17 to 19, 2026, in Saint-Étienne-aux-Clos. The association Silva “Photographions la Nature” will host around twenty wildlife photographers for three days of celebration of wildlife and awareness-raising for environmental protection.
On the program: photographic exhibitions, nature documentary screenings, thematic conferences on fauna and flora, guided nature walks, and stands featuring local artisans and environmental organizations.
The “Draw Nature” contest will allow children from schools in Corrèze and neighboring departments to express their vision of nature. Free admission for all activities.
The Festival Signé Nature takes place in the village of Saint-Étienne-aux-Clos (19200), in Corrèze.
