FestYjeux is the annual gathering for board game enthusiasts in Issoudun, in the Indre region. Organized every year in April by the association Les Dés'Chaînés de la Tour, this festival offers over 1000 m² of total immersion in the world of modern board games, from discovery to tournaments and meeting creators.

More than 400 games to discover

The strength of FestYjeux lies in the scale of its ephemeral game library. More than 400 different games are available to visitors, from the great classics to the latest releases. Volunteer animators are present at each table to explain the rules and guide players in their discoveries. Strategy games, party games, cooperative games, role-playing games: all genres are represented to satisfy the most varied tastes.

The prototypes area: play before anyone else

One of the highlights of FestYjeux is the prototypes area, a unique space where visitors can test games not yet published or released. Game creators are present to showcase their prototypes, gather player feedback, and refine their creations. It's an exceptional opportunity to play the game of the year before its release and contribute to its development by sharing your thoughts with the authors.

Tournaments and competitions

For competitive players, FestYjeux organizes tournaments throughout the day, in partnership with game publishers and distributors. The latest releases are featured in these friendly competitions, adding a sporting dimension to the event.

A festival for all ages

FestYjeux is an event for all audiences. A children's area dedicated to those under 10 offers games suitable for their age, supervised by attentive animators. Families can enjoy the festival together, with everyone finding games at their own pace. Admission is completely free, and a snack bar is available for refreshments on-site to extend the day of play.
