Fêt'Arts: Artistic Creation in Rural Areas

Born from the desire of the ARTSvaloir association to promote arts and creation in the north of Mayenne, the Fêt'Arts festival has established itself in a few editions as a must-see artistic event in Villaines-la-Juhel. Every year in May, about thirty artists take over the premises of L'Ampère, a co-working and cultural space, to present their works and share their passion with the public.

A Panorama of Visual and Performing Arts

Fêt'Arts' program covers a wide spectrum of artistic disciplines. Visitors can discover works of painting, watercolor, drawing, photography, ceramics, mosaics, wood sculpture, and metal sculpture. Beyond the visual arts, the festival also highlights performing and literary arts with song performances, poetry readings, and meetings with literature authors.

L'Ampère, a Showcase for Culture

The festival takes place at L'Ampère, a co-working and cultural space located in the heart of Villaines-la-Juhel. This space offers a warm and bright setting to host exhibitions and artistic performances. The layout of the venue allows for free movement between different exhibition areas, encouraging direct exchanges between artists and visitors.

True to its values of accessibility and sharing, Fêt'Arts is a completely free event. The ARTSvaloir association focuses on conviviality and proximity to showcase the richness of local and regional artistic creation. The festival thus contributes to the cultural animation of the Villaines-la-Juhel and Haut-Maine area, in a spirit of openness and encounters.
