The Fête de la Musique returns to Béziers on Sunday, June 21, 2026. As everywhere in France, the city celebrates the arrival of summer to the rhythm of music, with free open-air concerts throughout the city center.
From the Allées Paul Riquet to the squares and alleys of the city center, professional and amateur musicians, local bands, and visiting artists take turns on stage and on street corners. Rock, pop, world music, classical, or electro: all styles are on offer for a festive and friendly evening.

A free musical evening in the city center
From 6:00 PM, the heart of Béziers transforms into a massive open-air stage. The Allées Paul Riquet, along with various squares and pedestrian streets, host completely free concerts and musical performances. Dozens of musicians, local bands, and both amateur and professional groups will keep the city buzzing late into the night.
The 2026 stage lineup
The bottom of the Allées Paul Riquet brings together La Banda Mescladis, La Bande à Béziers, and the Gipsy Kompas Quintet, while the top of the Allées focuses on pop, rock, folk, and chanson. Place Jean Jaurès hosts an electro stage and DJ showcase (ADX, Florian Sivet, Maxx Baty), Place de la Mairie features the "Scène Révélation" showcase and a jazz stage, and Place de la Madeleine hosts a blues stage. The Plateau des Poètes welcomes Les Arcs en Scène and the Plaisirs de Chœur choir, while Place Pierre Lavabre features Les Improvisateurs and Tchatche 2 Mains. The Cathédrale Saint-Nazaire offers a more classical atmosphere with Les Amis de l'Orgue, Lise Monferrer, the Trio Melodia, Les Petits Chanteurs de la Trinité, and the Conservatoire Béziers Méditerranée. At 7:30 PM, the Ostals du Capus will host the FMS Jazz trio, followed by an open stage for a jam session.
A celebration of all styles
Rock, pop, French variety, chanson, world music, jazz, blues, classical, organ, or electronic music: the eclectic and popular program highlights local talent. Bars, cafés, terraces, and cultural venues are all participating in the event, extending the festivities throughout the heart of Béziers.
