Free concerts throughout the city on June 21, 2026
Every June 21, Decazeville celebrates the Fête de la Musique: amateur musicians, local bands, and artists perform for free in the streets, squares, and terraces of the city center of this former mining town in Aveyron. The day is entirely free and open to all.
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city of Decazeville into an open-air stage every June 21. Music freely takes over public spaces, of all genres and for all audiences, from the first concerts until late in the evening.
Usually, the celebration enlivens the heart of Decazeville: squares, streets, and terraces in the center host open-air concerts, presented by amateur musicians, music schools, local bands, and the city's bars.
