The Fête de la Musique in Millau

As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city of Millau into an open-air stage every June 21. In the heart of Aveyron, the sub-prefecture of the Grands Causses resonates with all musical styles in its historic center, from the first concerts in the morning until late in the evening.

A celebration throughout the city center

Usually, several stages are set up in the streets, squares, and boulevards of the city center. Les Halles traditionally host entertainment, street performances roam the pedestrian arteries, and the city's bars and restaurants extend the celebration into the evening with concerts on terraces and inside establishments. All genres coexist, from music school repertoires to local bands and regional talents.
