The Fête de la Musique in Nîmes
Since its national creation in 1982, the Fête de la Musique has become one of Nîmes' major popular summer events. On June 21, music freely takes over public spaces: amateurs, conservatory students, and established artists perform in the squares, forecourts, and small squares of the city center, from late afternoon until the heart of the night.
Five municipal stages and numerous partner stages
For the 2026 edition, the City of Nîmes is setting up five large municipal stages: Place de la Maison Carrée, Place d'Assas, Place Questel, Place du Chapitre, and Place de la Calade.
