About Fête de la Violette
Fête de la Violette — edition 2026
The Violet Festival is back at Place du Capitole in Toulouse on Saturday, February 21 and Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 10h to 17h. Organized by the City of Toulouse, this annual festival celebrates the city's emblematic flower, the Toulouse violet, in full bloom.
On the program: a large market of violets and artisanal creations, an exceptional floral exhibition presented by the municipal greenhouses, participatory repotting workshops (visitors leave with their own violet plant), shows, activities for all ages, and tastings of violet-based products (crystallized sweets, syrups, honey, pastries, as well as perfumes, soaps, cosmetics, and gift ideas).
For the 2026 edition, the violet shares the spotlight with pastel, another historical treasure of the region, an opportunity to rediscover the history of the "blue of Pays de Cocagne" alongside the cultivation of the violet.
Access: metro line A, Capitole station.
