A Tradition Born in 1959
The Mimosa Festival is an ancestral tradition that has celebrated the spectacular blooming of mimosas in the southernmost village of the Île d'Oléron since 1959. In Saint-Trojan-les-Bains, mimosas have been blooming for over a century, offering a dazzling natural spectacle of golden-yellow flowers each winter that scent the village streets.
A Popular Flowery Carnival
Every year in February, this popular festival brings together all generations in a festive and friendly atmosphere.
