Each year, Châlons Agglo organizes the National Day celebrations in the prefecture of the Marne. The festivities traditionally take place on the evening of July 13th, offering locals and visitors a free evening of entertainment in the magnificent setting of the Grand Jard, one of the city's most beautiful public gardens.

A festive and popular program

The July 14th festivities in Châlons-en-Champagne include several highlights:

• Parade and patriotic ceremony: in the presence of civil and military authorities
• Concert by the municipal band: at the Grand Jard bandstand starting at 9 PM, with a repertoire mixing various music and military marches
• Fireworks display: launched from the Grand Jard between 10:30 PM and 11 PM, offering a pyrotechnic show visible from Avenue du Maréchal Leclerc and the surroundings of the Jard
• Popular ball: on Place de la République, to extend the evening with music and dancing
