Rock music at the heart of the Champagne countryside
The Moissons Rock association was founded in 1994 in the small village of Juvigny, with a first concert by three regional bands in May 1995. Since then, the festival has continued to grow, establishing itself as one of the major musical events in the Marne and Grand Est regions. The founding ambition remains intact: to bring quality contemporary music to rural areas, in a friendly and accessible spirit.
The festival takes place in Juvigny, a village of a few hundred inhabitants located between Châlons-en-Champagne and Épernay. This unique rural setting, amidst the Champagne fields, gives Les Moissons Rock a special atmosphere, both rural and festive. The two outdoor stages host about fifteen artists over three to four days, in a spirit of proximity and sharing.
The Moissons Rock program is characterized by its eclecticism: rock, festive pop, swing, French chanson, reggae, ska, and world music are featured on the festival's stages. Among the artists who have graced the Moissons Rock stages are names like Dub Inc, Matmatah, and many emerging talents from the French and international scene.
Les Moissons Rock is organized by an association of passionate volunteers, who work throughout the year to keep this unique festival alive. The associative spirit and volunteer commitment are at the heart of the festival's identity, which focuses on conviviality, accessibility, and social connection to bring audiences together.
The 31st edition of Les Moissons Rock took place from Wednesday, May 13 to Saturday, May 16, 2026 in Juvigny (Marne). Four days of open-air concerts in the heart of the Champagne countryside with an eclectic lineup mixing rock, metal, festive song, reggae, and pop: Matmatah & The Fuzzy Brass Four, Ultra Vomit, Rise of the Northstar, La Rue Kétanou, Zoufris Maracas, Yaniss Odua, and numerous regional bands on two stages.
The 31st edition of the festival took place from Wednesday, May 13 to Saturday, May 16, 2026 in Juvigny, on the historic site of the Voie de Matougues. Four days of contemporary music outdoors, in the rural setting of the Marne countryside, which attracted nearly 9,000 festival-goers.
New for 2026: the first evening on Wednesday, May 13 took on a young audience focus, with two free-access concerts — Burning Scarlett (5 PM) and Ça Fait Wizz (7 PM) — to open the festival to families before the three main evenings.
From Thursday to Saturday, the program unfolded on the festival's two open-air stages, with an increased emphasis on the emerging scene dedicated to local and regional artists:
To close this 31st edition, the festival welcomed Matmatah accompanied by four brass instruments (The Fuzzy Brass Four), in a unique formula blending the Brest-based group's rock repertoire with brass section arrangements. A memorable finale for an edition that confirmed Les Moissons Rock's place among the unmissable events of the Grand Est.
Official program published by the association. Precise times for Thursday/Friday/Saturday were not publicly released on accessible sources.
