Oenofestival Musiques en Champagne: The Alliance of Music and Terroir

Since 2001, Oenofestival Musiques en Champagne has been setting the rhythm for summer evenings in the Grande Vallée de la Marne with an original formula combining concerts and wine tourism. This traveling festival, labeled Vignobles et Découvertes, offers six musical getaways each year in as many different towns in the Champagne vineyards, in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of the Mountain of Reims.

A Unique Concept Between Music and Champagne

The originality of the Oenofestival lies in its format: each evening takes place in an unusual venue linked to the Champagne heritage. Spectators discover prestigious champagne houses, equestrian centers, castle grounds, or even wine cooperatives transformed into open-air concert halls. Before each performance, discovery activities are offered: cellar tours, guided tastings, walks in the vineyards, and meetings with passionate winemakers.

An Eclectic Musical Program

The Oenofestival's program favors musical diversity and openness. Over the years, the festival has hosted artists from very diverse backgrounds:

Strong Territorial Roots

Organized by the Communauté de Communes de la Grande Vallée de la Marne, with the support of the Intercommunal Tourist Office of Hautvillers and the Intercommunal MJC of Aÿ, the Oenofestival has become a must-attend summer event in the region. The concerts take place in several emblematic towns of the vineyards: Hautvillers, the birthplace of Dom Pérignon, Aÿ-Champagne, Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, Ambonnay, Champillon, Nanteuil-la-Forêt, and Fontaine-sur-Aÿ.

Conviviality and Accessibility

With a price of €15 per concert and free admission for those under 16 accompanied by an adult, the Oenofestival focuses on accessibility and conviviality. Limited capacity ensures an intimate and warm experience, far from large crowds. Each evening is an invitation to take your time, savor a glass of champagne while listening to live music in an exceptional setting.
